Apartment Review for Pleasant Ridge Apartments - Little Rock, AR

Lets just start by saying this...the apartments look really nice inside and out, and they are extremely spacious. It's all very alluring. But don't get sucked in by good looks...because the management is the devil in sheeps clothing. The things that the other people were saying on these reviews are true. We too had an extremely high power bill and management did nothing for it...when my husband went behind the building to look at the AC unit, he noticed it was turned off...hmmm...mysterious. I mistakenly added the rent and water wrong by about 2.00...oops...but management wouldn't allow us to pay it next time or pay in cash...my husband had to actually write a check for that amount...when we overpayed the water...we didn't get reimbursed. Hmmm...somebody is selfish. Parking is another issue...there is none...we got a boot put on one of our trucks because we parked an inch into a red curb. When I notified management that the reason we were parked there was because there were no other spots in the complex...they said too bad you'll just have to wait for a spot then walk from the other side of the complex when there was a spot available. That's comforting. We woke up one day with a last warning where before eviction letter on our door, when management was asked about it they said that our TV was too loud. Funny thing, we never got any previous warnings. Fine, we told them that it was impossible seeing as how there is a fireplace and a room between the TV and the neighbor that apparently complained. She argued with us and told us we were wrongand that wasn't how our apartment was laid out. The one nice guy in the office gently told her she was wrong. We haven't heard anything else since then. Go Figure. The maintenance guys...bless their hearts...they do what they can with what they have that's all I have to say. To sum it all up...don't move here...you'll be wasting your time. The management is mean, lazy, rude, and very unhelpful. They lack in people skills. You'll be disappointed trust me.
