Apartment Review for Pleasant Ridge Apartments - Little Rock, AR

Lived at Pleasant Ridge Apartments for 4 years. This place has seen multiple owners and is a member of the manager-of-the-month club. There's over 20 years of paint on these walls.

1. Poor construction: Original contractors cut every corner. Little to no insulation. AC and heat under equipped to handle the job. Summertime power bill $400! Apartment temp 80. Built in the early 80s, the contractor used polybutylene plumbing. It was replaced in 2006. Now the water pressure is very very low. Ceiling leaks during bad storms.

2. Poor management: Rude, clueless, lazy, not customer friendly. From the front office staff to the owners, this has been one of the worse apartment experiences of my life (living in apartments for 30 years.)

3. Poor parking: Each unit gets one space. A three bedroom apartment could have as many as three or four cars. Most tenants are not told this (see #2) until a neighbor complains.

4. Poor maintenance: The maintenance crew does the best they can with what the have. They are told to repair everything the cheapest way possible... and they do. "Thanks guys, see ya next week!" Duct tape and bailing wire... only the best for Pleasant Ridge.

I could go on, but there's not enough bandwidth on the Internet. Do yourself a favor... look somewhere else.
