Apartment Review for Holcombe Heights Apartments - Little Rock, AR

I am a current and soon to be leaving tennant. The apartments have not been updated since probably the 70's (including the appliances). When you ask for maintenance to correct the problem, they send their own person instead of a professional so your problem is never really corrected. Their Office Manager never answers much less in the office so you can never get in touch with someone when you need them. The complex promised building a security gate in March 2008 which still has not been completed. There are exposed gas lines. Parking is not assigned and has become very troublesome with tennants having several partying friends come and go in the middle of the night and several cars having hit and run problems. Needless to say there is also no guest parking or room for a car to back up. There was a break in where a stranger busted in a sliding glass window and battered the tennant before help could arrive. Management's response was that a Police Officer would live on sight, however it has been 6 months and I have still yet to see one. There is no division of smoking vs. non-smoking apartments so all of your non-smoking apartments will smell like a bar from your neighbors. Much less, balconies are shared and so you will have your partying, smoking neighbors take over your lawn furniture only to find beer cans and cigarettes butts on the ground after there late night feats. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T SACRIFICE QUALITY FOR THE VIEW!
