Apartment Review for Chenal Lakes Apartments - Little Rock, AR

run away this is a horrible place. the upkeep of the grounds and appearance is very good. that is basically the only good thing about the complex. to start with when i moved in the apartment was infested with roaches. i asked management to have it sprayed, which they had to do 2x to kill all the roaches.there was a murder on the grounds of the complex while we lived there, and it was never mentioned by the staff. the staff seems to be very nice until you get ready to move out. any deposit that you pay YOU WILL GET VERY LITTLE BACK. i have actually live here 2 seperate times, and they kept a large portion of the deposit the first time. the most recent time in 2006, i decided to move back out of convience, that was a huge mistake. i did not give enough notice when i planned to move out. this was my fault. there fee was not 100 or 200 or even 300 dollars, but another months rent. this was prorated( they "acciedntally" calculated it wrong so when i called to ask about it so happens they were just about to call me and tell me they had made a mistake) this little "mistake" would have resulted in a overcharge of about 100 dollars. if that was not enough they also charged us 125 dollars for "damages" to a floor. the"damages" were 4 nickle sized yellow spots on the floor. of the yellow spots in the bathroom where a rug was when we moved in were " not noticeable". they will squeeze you for dollar they can get. please pick another apartment complex.
