You can rent but can never leave. First there is a 60 move-out notification policy. Second, when you do move out (and I have heard this from several folks besides my own experience) they charge you a "pro-rated" fee for replacing the carpet. So unless you live in the same apartment for five years, they do not consider normal "wear and tear" of the carpet. The current rate is between 150.00 and 220.00 a year for your use of their carpet. You live in a place of two years amg not once did they offer any thing in the way of "carpet care". The only times it got cleaned in that that time is when I paid to have it done. Oh, make sure that you change the drip pans (14.00), have a maid service scrub every thing 3 times (Fridge - 10.00, oven - 10.00, mop kitchen 10.00 and 6.00 for counter tops and cabinets), and do not leave a scrape of paper (50.00). These are all standard charges they use to incease their profits and all are classified as normal wear and tear. The only exception to 'normal wear and tear would be the trash.

Go help you if you get your car broken into while living there. First thing out of their mouths was "We don't provide security". And believe me, they don't. Oh, they will tell you that they have a police office on the premise. And they do, as a tenant only.

Granted, the maintence that was requested was done pretty quick, usually a maintenance man was there in 4-6 hours in most cases. But until about September of 2006, most of the work was half-assed.

There are places just out Cantell about a half mile that are about the same price and are new (completed late 2006) that have better amenitites with in the aparment.

On last thing, Pleasant Woods will go up every time you renew your lease. This will range from 20-35.00 a month and there is nothing to show for these increases. Neither in the way of security, amenities for the complex, increase in maintenance staff/qualtiy. Nothing.
